Hi,

I am looking for some information.

My dad had a full emg about a month ago (arms legs hands feet shoulder neck tongue). It was normal. My question is is it still possible for him to be diagnosed with bulbar als with a normal emg including the tongue. The only symptom he has is fasciculations of the tongue. I have read mixed info on this subject. Thank you for your time.

Tom,

How did they diagnose you? I was unclear about it from your post.
Thanks a bunch

I have PBP and my tongue is now almost dead. It started with quivering which changed to non movement. Limbs still ok.
