I don't see a thread, or maybe I am overlooking it, but Ken passed this morning. He was the first pals I met after my dx, and was very helpfull to me. He will be missed dearly. Atleast his suffering is over now.

I only knew of Ken because of a newspaper article here in the Columbus area. I remember him mentioning that his wife was "his rock" - he seemed to take this disease on with everything he had. I have never met either of them, but now, knowing how hard this disease is on everyone involved, have great admiration for both of them. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

I'm not familiar with Ken Timmons but I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I got some similar bad news yesterday, the first PALS I met after my DX died yesterday afternoon. She was a lady in our local ALS support group. Only diagnosed a year ago. She was in a WC and not talking much by the time we met her, but she had such a personality and a sweet smile. She was a role model for me in terms of how to handle this disease with courage and good nature, and it is devastating to know she is gone.

Hi guys,
I cringe when I see another pals gone, or in a declining place. I hate to see us lose a friend of family member. We have lost so many this year that I just get overwhelmed when I think about it. I send out my sympathy and friendship to all who are in the greiving process. I think we have all found ourselves in that place way to much. I HATE ALS...

phil my prayers go out for you to be comforted by god in this moment .i dont know ken but im sure he was a good guy .atleast now he doesnt have to suffer anymore the pain for him has ended,and he is at peace today jeffp
