Failed my memory association test at the neuro appt. the other day, so they sent me to have my brain MRIed. Yeah, they found what they were looking for, Alsheimers lesions. Bummer. Well, my sister who's a nurse isn't going to be surprised, she's said all along that Alsheimers is rife in our family tree. She's the keeper of the family tree/history.

I think this means maybe I won't be aware of what's going to happen to me later on. Might be a blessing in disguise.

I had them burn me a copy of the CD, and I've been perusing pictures of the inside of my head. No longer an alleged mind, there is one there. They pointed arrows in several images of what they were highlighting.

Perry, what a terrible development, I am so sorry. Imagine having ALS and then this on top of it. All I can offer is the usual ALS wish, I hope your progression is slow.

Perry, I'm so sorry to hear about this new diagnosis. On a brighter side, Alzheimers could be a very slow developing disease. Lets hope for a slow progression for both diseases.
In addition, I heard that on of the Alzheimer's medication is currently tried in clinical trial for ALS. Please checked with your neuro.Erica
