Default Microsoft supported Research - Answer ALS

Thought this was an interesting article about a research project called "Answer ALS" where PALS can help to collect clinical, genetic, behavioral, molecular and biochemical data on people living with ALS. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, researchers plan to analyze the data to uncover new insights about the causes of ALS and develop possible therapeutic treatments.

So far there are only 8 sites around the country where you can participate, but you may want to get involved if it is in your area.

Default Re: Microsoft supported Research - Answer ALS

I think they are close to fully enrolled.

It is an easy study if it happens to be at your clinic. They are flexible with visit intervals but aim for about every three months They take blood, do strength testing and a couple of other quick tests. Spinal tap is optional at each visit or you can opt out and not have one.

And they give you a t shirt!
