Thank you Nikki, for this link. I appreciate you posting it and I'll email it to some of my family members. What great hope for the ALS community! TARDBP is our FALS gene and its footprint through our family has been great. While it may not be the answer personally for the 6 or 7 of us who have already been touched by ALS, I'm sure this news will be especially appreciated by our younger cousins who haven't been tested or shown symptoms yet, and many of our younger nieces and nephews who are just now becoming aware of "the family curse" (as my Mom used to call it). Can't happen fast enough and I hope they never have to go through it.
