I am recovering from a minor surgery and requested propofol. I haven't learned how much I had and didn't notice any remarkable changes but did think my voice (if the sounds I make can be called a voice) was a bit clearer and steadier for about three days. I attended the ALS Clinic yesterday and the PT thought I was stronger but walking slower. I hadn't seen this fellow before, so he might be just interpreting my strength differently.
He irritated me a bit, so when he stuck out three fingers and told me to squeeze hard, I did--popped his knuckles.
I'm having another surgery 9/6 and will request propofol again and see if I have anything to report.
