Scooter,
when this report was published in 2001, I jumped right on it and persuaded my neurologist to prescribe the AIDS cocktail for me. I was on it for about two months, felt terrible the whole time and thought my progression was speeding up. It was VERY expensive as well. Elizabeth Grandbois, the famous Canadian ALS fundraiser, also took the the cocktail at that time and believed it was helping her. I don't know whether she still takes it. I remain a sceptic.
