Hi Lori,

I am sure others in the States will post an answer shortly.
We "down under" have very few oppertunities to enter into trials as such due to the small number of people here with ALS. So we rely on people like you to do the trials for us, more the pitty.

So, if you go ahead with it , i wish you all the best with it and who knows the outcome.

cheers
Peter

Hey Lori -

I just read some of the study. It doesn't look like it will hurt you to do it. Have you made up your mind yet? Keep us posted.

Lori
I had not heard of this but it sounds very interesting. Best of luck should you decide to participate. Let us know what happens.

i have seen it on this form or patients like us can not remember but know the letters and numbers

Lori -I'll be looking at participating out of Syracuse also. I know someone who was part of the Phase I, nothing adverse, but no benefit either - he might have been placebo. I'll keep you posted.

The way I understand it is you do it for 3 weeks, and in two of the weeks you get the real drug, a third week you get the placebo. HUGS Lori

Lori,

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thanks for the stock tip!

Sounds promising to me.You are a smart lady.
