sounds good but, it is way to early to know if it can even help but , we can hope
 
Thanks for sharing that research. We must not become discouraged that persons with ALS are too few for the research fervor of say, Cancer, and even more prevelant MNDs. The strides in cancer research have been a result of greater knowledge at the genetic level. Apoptosis, a function that triggers cellular destruction when faulty genetic material (mutation) occurs, can break down, causing tumor growth (cancer). This same genetic anomoly is being studied in ALS research. The study you have shared (link) is very encouraging as it seems to have identified another genetic process that is a factor in faulty DNA being replicated, causing cellular damage. Carry on scientists and amature scientists. The answer is out there.

The mir206 research also highlights the fact that muscle is also a key player in ALS pathogenesis.
