Hello Dave,
My mother in law was DX with Bulbar onset in Feb. 09. It took awhile for the DX. She now has a peg tube and can no longer speak. It is affecting her hands and starting in her legs. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I am also pretty new here but the knowledge and support is unbelievable. Josie

Hello Josie - sounds like a similar timeframe for us. She fell a couple of times late last year, let it go for clumsy. Speech was apparent by the end of January with muscle weakness shortly thereafter. Official dx didnt come until June but they called it March. She had her PEG in August to curtail weight loss, but is almost intelligible now. She has lost most dexterity in her hands and experienced a drop of her right foot.
