We leave today and will fly out tomorrow IF we don't get covered in SNOW and IF the pilots remember where the airport is located! Yes, flying that airline and from that airport! I do not like to fly so this is a true challenge for me but the lure of magic, of sunshine is stronger than my fear! lol No computer access for a few weeks so will be filling all of you in about the adventure on our return from the magic kingdom and incredible Charleston, SC. hugs to all

SHIMMERING with Pixie Dust and SUNSHINE!!! We got back yesterday and it was MAGIC! My baby brother is friends with one of the Imagineers and we got a five day VIP tour for free :] Honestly, we would never have managed it all if we had not had their assistance. Disney upgraded our room to a disabled suite with two rooms. Our cast member picked us up at the resort everyday, ferried us around in a Disney Suburban, returned us to the Resort-planned the day, rode the rides that we couldn't with Matthew and we never waited in one line. She even pushed Web in the wheelchair when we needed a break! It was the trip of a lifetime!! Matthew loved the action rides and the roller coasters. Web and I loved "Soaring". We stayed in the Caribbean Beach Resort and it was fabulous. If anyone goes, make sure that you buy the Dining Plan and make dinner reservations for your sit down meals way in advance. The food is VERY expensive and the Dining plan was worth every penny. DEEEElicious food! We found the Orlando Airport very confusing but did find our way to the Magical Express line. Another must do is to buy the Magical Express and have your luggage delivered to your room :] I think if I had to name a favorite theme park for me, it would be Epcot but it was also a lot of walking. Matthew LOVED Expedition Everest and went on it 10 times while Daddy and I watched from the safety of the ground :] They asked Matthew to apply for a summer position when he turns 16 and he can hardly wait! I wish that you all could have been there with us and shared in the magic!

So very happy for you & your family that you had this wonderful experience!
It does sound like a trip of a lifetime!

Now, unpack & get all the laundry done. Then, sit back & relax before the holidays start!

Welcome back from your trip!

I should have suggested before you went that if you suffer motion sickness (as does my wife from time to time) you shouldn't go on the Tea Cup ride.

I can't go on something like that without going for it! I forgot my wife doesn't take stuff like this very well and started spinning the tea cup like a mad man. She almost upchucked on me.

So, for most of the ride (this was back in the 80's), I had to just sit there, acting and looking stupid, going nowhere but gently around the circle thing the cups were in. For Pete's sake, it was a silly kiddy ride to begin with...

Oh, the memories!
