Edaravone/Radicava access in Europe?

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum, so I hope I don't break any rules by posting a message here.

Edaravone (Radicava) has been approved in the US, but I'm wondering how can the rest of the people have access to this drug from Europe. In my case I live in Spain.

I have two important questions, that I suppose a lot of people have too:

1) How to get access the drug from Japan for a reasonable price. Do I will need a contact to call and visit Japan, and see if I can bring it to Spain legally?

2) How to find someone to administer the drug in my own country legally and with medical assistance?

Anyone who can help out of there?

Hi there,

Do a search on the forum for Radicut or Edaravone - you'll find posts where i have pasted links or instructions on how to go to japan and get it. In regards to a reasonable price, i'm pretty sure they don't "discount" there... but it is cheaper than what has been advertised for the US.

I don't know the custom laws for Europe, so you'd need to do some research there and see how to bring it in and also where to administer it. Maybe speak to your doctor about it?
