Neudexta Trial to help Bulbar onset pALS

A Neudexta trial to start in Fall of 12 as it looks like the drug may help bulbar-onset patients with their speaking and swallowing.

I have a prescription for Neuxeda but can't sleep when I am on it. Did not notice any difference in the speech and swallowing, but the emotional swings were contained.

Jamiem - it affects me the same way. I do not take it twice a day because of the not-sleeping issue, but do take one in the mid-morning. It helps with the laughing/crying, but if I get real tired . . . watch out - I'll have a laugh attack because I think the NDex wears off by evening.
