I am sorry you are having these horrible symptoms. It must be very scary. But it sounds like you are also experiencing some intense anxiety, which can make everything worse. I don't think head pain/pressure or pressure in the lower and upper back sounds like a symptom of
ALS, although hand weakness is a symptom, but also could be caused by many other things. have you had an EMG done? what has that shown? Have you seen a neurologist?
It sounds like a good idea to see your primary care doctor this morning. I would talk to him/her about your
ALS fears. if they seem unfounded, perhaps the dr. can prescribe some anti-anxiety meds for you. is there any possibility that some of your symptoms could be caused by prednisone?
