that's smart. let the docs test for high levels of metal traces in his blood and then let hubby (with your help) make a decision about going through detox. i hope he feels excited about whatever choice he makes. my aunt has been going to therapy for her anxiety over the disease and she's convinced that it's helping her talk better. i don't know if it is or not but i wouldn't tell her, "don't think like that. there's nothing that stops ALS." you never know. and it's soooooo wonderful to hear her sounding positive and excited that she's doing something to help herself. your husband deserves that feeling. however he can find it... as long as it doesn't cost the house!
