I feel a very heavy heart today as it is the first mother's day without my dear mother, Jeannie. I felt compelled to write something, as I know some of us have recently lost mother's, or have newly had mother's diagnosed.
I just have to reflect on our journey with ALS, and the things it did not take away from us, and never will be able to.......
Our Hope
Our Faith
Our Love
Our Grace
Our Humor
Our Faithfulness
Our Steadfastness
Our Inner Beauty, in fact ALS magnified it!
Our Appreciation of life
Our Compassion
and so many other wonderful things.. . . . .. . .
I will be forever changed as a daughter of a PAL. My mother's choice to live with grace, dignity, and absolute optimism, will always live with me. I will always try my best to choose the same, I will honor her with my choices to live the life I have been given to the fullest. I will honor all of the PALS out there by remembering you, your stories, and your amazing grace!

Happy Mother's Day!

Love,
Holly
