Hello! I am 19 years old and have been relatively healthy, but a few weeks ago my hands started shaking, which I attributed to stress due to exams. However, last night I noticed my hands were really stiff, and I started dropping things by accident. I thought it would pass with sleep but it did not. My left leg has also been feeling a bit off, I recently went on a walk and noticed that it felt weird. My pinky and ring finger are the worst, I'm having trouble typing this with them. I was also having muscle twitches last night. I've also been experiencing tremors, though once again this could be due to exam stress.

Could this be ALS? I thought I was too young but now I'm absolutely terrified.

EDIT: i should probably mention that my grandma died of ALS, and i'm always told I look just like her....is it possible I inherited it from her?

None of this sounds like ALS. Please read the stickies at the top of this sub forum for more information. You need to get a grip on your anxiety. Good luck to you.
