Worried sick- does this sound like like ALS?

Hi all, thank you for your time. I am worried sick about my husband. He has been having fasisculations in his calves since early september. He can't remember if they started in one and moved onto the other quickly or if it started in both. He has no pain or weakness that he sees. Would the twitching for this long lead to weakness already?

I forgot to mention that he has lots of cramping in his legs too.
