Cough Assist Device - which one and where to buy?

My wife has been prescribed one. Obamacare BCBS plan won't pay much for it, and with huge deductible I will effectively be buying it on my own nickel.

What make and model is preferred? Philips T70?

Where is best place to buy one online? Factory refurb OK?

Local DME wanted $8600... Seems sky high to me!

I don't know what is preferred or best place to buy.

I use a Hill-Rom VitalCough.

You can probably check with the manufacturers local representative or online for pricing.

If you have not met a high deductible, I would not pay retail under any circumstance.
Google "rent cough assist" and you will find rental options. You can also find refurbs. (search on refurbished cough assist).
