I am fed up with my manual lift. I am looking for recommendations for a power/electric lift. I'd like one that is portable, so we can take it with us if we travel. I know insurance will not pay for a power lift, but I'm at the end of my rope with the manual one I have.

My husband is tall (6'2") with most of his height in his torso. I need one that will lift him high enough to transfer from bed to PWC, Bed to (raised) toilet, and PWC to toilet.

What do you like/dislike about the model you have?

Thanks!

There are at least 3 basic "travel lifts" [fold] + the Arjo Huntleigh Maxi Lite, which doesn't lift that high and is more for vehicle transfers. In your case max lift "boom" height from floor will be critical, so I'd pick the one with the most. With some slings, our regular Hoyer could not lift my 6'1" husband, also trunk-heavy, high enough, so there's not a lot of room for error. I think our max lift height was 72" so would try to approximate that. Specs are on line. Reviews are good for all 3 below.
