Liily-
It is very hard to tell online if your hand is ok. You need to keep seeing a doctor to look for causes of your symptoms.

So it doesnt Look ok. there May be a atrophy

Lilly
The only person who will be able to tell if there is atrophy there is your doctor. It's always best to get a qualified medical opinion if you are worried.

Good luck

Wendy

I know but for you does it look like beginnig im only asking for advice ? And also i would like to ask abaut feel like tounge was burning ? If anyone has something like this ? Please for your opinion

If this wasnt atrophy you say this probably .. And im warried That you dont Say this :( .. i dont Have weeknes in this thumb.. only it look like this .. My neurologist Say Nothing but here in Poland is dificult for good doctor..

The reason you are not getting a direct answer is that it's very difficult to tell from a photo.

Your hand doesn't look like mine and mine is severely atrophied. My hand is smooth and very flat.

We are not doctors here and it would not be right for us to try to tell you yes or no over the Internet we don't have the knowledge. As it's causing you such worry you need to see a doctor.

In Als the atrophy is caused by lack of movement in the muscle associated with clinical weakness. So if you don't have weakness that is good news.

Wendy

Thank you Wendy. Can you tell my abaut tounge did you ever feel like it was burn ? Do you have that feeling ?

Lilly- It's time to visit with a doctor. Wendy has answered you patiently, but recommended you see a doctor.

Im sorry im Just very warried. I Have Been at 6 neurologist Everyone say Nothing.

Lily
I get loss of function but not feeling. So I haven't had burning sensations.

Sometimes when you are worried and anxious reading lots of information on here can make things worse. I would advise going back to your general doctor rather than your Specialist explain all your symptoms and also how worried you are getting. They may be able to help ease the anxiety symptoms at least while your problems are being checked out.

Good luck

Wendy

Thank you Wendy. In July im going to hospital for emg all the body. So i Just wait. Really thank you for your answer.

Lilly, my husband had bulbar-onset ALS. His tongue does not work anymore (cannot speak or eat or stick it out for cleaning), but he has never, ever had burning or any pain in it.

No one here has any diagnostic ability, only personal experience with our loved ones or ourselves. So I can just say that your hand does not look like my husband's atrophied hand and the symptoms you list are quite different from his.

If 6 neurologists have seen you personally and told you it was not ALS, it would be wise to cross that off your list and ask them what other condition your symptoms might indicate. A 2nd opinion is always a wise thing, but after 6 opinions by trained professionals, you really need to look in a different direction.

Wishing you the best.

Thank you all. I Just feel that something is wrong with me and this terrible feeling in my throat like something was there and sometimes it painful. My doctor said that burning tounge is the first symptom in als or neuroboleriosis...

Pretty sure those are two separate diagnoses. I agree with those that have already spoken. Go see your general practitioner; explain all your symptoms to them and let them follow through with your issues.
Good luck to you!

Angie
