Important action item!
There are indications that MT Pharma America (Mitsubishi Tanabe) may well be willing to set up an early access program for edaravone for people with ALS. It's very important that they hear from people to let them know that this would be used and appreciated.
Here is background and the phone number and the email address...
ALS Advocacy: Phone a Friend for a Lifeline
I called this morning. They are using contractors to handle the calls and are pretty much sticking to a script. All they request is name, phone number, zip code, and email address if you want to be kept informed.
Thanks if anyone can contact them and urge your family and friends to contact them, too... if only to express gratitude if they might open up access before the FDA review is complete. Volume of messages is important right now. No advocacy organizations are on this, so it's up to us to do it ourselves.
