Hey guys so like my title says I guess I'm a huge Cyberchondria and I think i diagnosed myself with that also. I came across this forum after just reading some many articles on the web.

So as the par week I've been getting a good amount of muscle twitches arms legs butt calf and just some random places I googled this because I knew this is ally the first sign of ALS and myself being in the medical field also I'm always googling things and sometimes reading to far into it?

I have no weakness that is noticeable I just helped my friend move the other day
I have been having leg pain for quite some time now which is why I'm leaning towards the ALS side

I'm super worried right now and so if my wife as I just told
Her I need you guys options

Hey bud-
We can't diagnose you via the internet. The ONLY way you're going to get any proper idea if you have something to be worried about is with a real live doctor and a proper objective physical assessment. I recommend you read the stickies at the top of this forum to have your initial questions answered about perceived symptoms.

I wish you well

Twitching is the first sign of ALS?

Not true.
Please tell me where you read that.

I agree with Shiftkicker.

For future readers: Cyberchondria is the unfounded escalation of concerns about common symptomology based on review of search results and literature online.

I'm sorry guys if I offended anyone I was just super in panic with the leg pain and twitches
Watching videos and everything made me really believe that is what it is

I read the sticky and saw that a specialist she mention she's never seen a NMD progress to ALS

I will see a neurologist just to rule it out

You say that you're in the medical field. Please re-read the sticky. From your self description, you might consider seeing a counselor to work on your self-diagnosing issue. That could become a full-time hobby if you keep it up. Dr. Google is not a good friend for you.
Best wishes.
