Hi all,

I'm forty years old and since 16 months I have some disorders :

speech disturbance
fasciculations and weakness in the legs
fasciculations and slight atrophy of the hands

Few weeks ago I posted some videos of my twitchings and some people reacted saying that was not ALS.

As my speech is deteriorating I decided to make a new post with a picture of my tongue.
Since few months I notice the side of my tongue is more and more thin.

Is this bulbar ALS ?

Thanks.

1) Your link leads to a download link, which I am disinclined to use

2) No one can diagnose you from a picture. A neurologist gets much more information from seeing you, testing you in person. I gather you did not trust your last neurologist. My best advice is to see another and start afresh, if you have new concerns.

Best,
Laurie

I fixed the link and attached the image.

Good looking tongue, Dikawon.

You have total control over your tongue. You can move it up, down, left, right. So I'm not worried.

Over the Internet, we can't really test you well. But personally, I don't see any problems in any of your posts, the video, or the photograph. And your doctor saw no problems, either.

Maybe you would want a different doctor to examine you. But frankly, I think you are A-OK. No problem.
