Kim,
Must be a difference between Florida premiums and Texas premiums. Or, because I am turning 65 this month. I went to the pulmonologist this morning and used Medicare for the first time. This is the first time I haven't paid a deductible in a very long time.
I also thought about getting plan G, same benefits as F, but the cost difference wasn't significant for me.

Marty,
Yup. When you turn 65, the monthly premium goes way down. Never thought I'd wish myself five years older!
The college is letting me stay on the payroll until my sick leave runs out....which is end of Feb or first of March. That's also when SSDI kicks in.
Kim

Mike, Your wife's patients were very fortunate...many doctors would not do the same. My local neurologist is like that. He has spent hours helping me and just talking with me.
