Meeting Pearshoot!

I've had knowledge of Pearshoot living in my backyard (so-to-speak) for the past few years and I finally got around to meeting him today.

Let me tell you, this is one interesting man to meet! His approach to living with ALS is a pro-active one. Speaking with him was enlightening and entertaining.

I don't have ALS but if I did, I'd want to copy what this man is doing.

Good On You, Pearshoot! I'm looking forward to spending more time with you in person!

I met pearshoot at the Advocacy Days in D.C. last May and one of the things he hoped to do soon was to meet you, Zaphoo! Glad to hear it finally happened!

zaphoone, thank you for your kind words. as an als ambassador it is my responsibility to get pals excited about drug trials no matter how mundane. local pals who do not attend support group are very difficult to find because of confidentuality so media is our only method. what some on this site may not know there is a very special bond between retired military veterans regardless of age or branch of serviice
