This is something that has helped me and I would like to share it with you.

ATTITUDE
The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstance, than failure, than success, than what other people think, say, or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company, a school, or a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day reguarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past, we can't chang the fact that people will act a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string that we have, and that is attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes. Attitude is everything!

Dear Wattif -

Thank you. Great post- I've printed it out and put it on refrigerator for inspiration.

I also added high praise to your reputation (in a good way!)

Thanks again- I needed that!

What a wonderful post. Thank you for sharing. I'm going to print it out as well. Kim

Thank you Elaine. I have a copy on my refrigerator, bathroom mirror, and bedroom door.

You're welcome. I hope it helps you as much at it has helped me.

You"re welcome. By the way, in case anyone was wondering, I do know how to spell what. But Wattever has to do with my name.

Thanks for sharing.

I've been living that way for some time, and it's working for me.

Keep on keeping on.

Cheers,
Casey

I believe this was written by Charles Swindoll. I used to use it in a job search workshop that I taught.

I had two grandparents on opposite sides of the family that both got sick and had the same things happen to them within two days of each other. My grandpa had a great attitude while my grandma was always complaining and bitter. One day I asked my grandpa how he was always happy after having a stroke and breaking his hip. He said "Kim, this is nothing compared to all the joy I've had in my life. I have a loving family and was married to you grandma for 63 years. I'd say I am a blessed man." I want to be like him someday.

This is so beautifully expressed! On this forum is the "Happiness Now" thread that
is full of uplifting quotes and message. Thank you for posting!

I agree. Attitude is everything.

just love your post thanks wattif -your a gem with your timing :)

positive attitude is everything. right in our support i have seen both sides and it really shows. i visit others who do not attend support group mettings and there attitude is not good and there progression is fast. played 11 holes of golf wed, neccessay to use wide valcore strap to strap both hands on club, wear safety belt with loops on rear, partner stands behind in case balance is lost. it was a great day
