UPDATE!
Hi all! I feel like I might finally be on the right track with things now. My single fiber EMG was pushed up by the neuromuscular specialist and I had it done today. It was abnormal so she thinks I have a mild form of seronegative MG. I have been given a small dose of mestinon to take and we will adjust as needed. She told me that she doesn't belive I have something more like ALS because I would have abnormal clinical exams. All my clinical exams and all previous EMG's (one done a year ago) were totally normal. She wants to at some point do a regular EMG since the last one was so long ago, but as of right now I have a diagnosis of papillary thyroid cancer and Myasthenia Gravis. The only concern I have is the all over muscle twitching that hasn't gone away. Is it possible to have that with MG? I have read it isn't a symptom, but I am wondering if maybe for me it is or maybe I also have BFS... is that possible? This has all been one crazy week.
