Well, Marta not you anymore! Boy you're up early must be one of those days that fall in between those glorious weekends!

Today, I'm going to try to pull off one of those Lazy Days from that new song. I don't feel like doing anything but promise I won't sit around in my Birthday suit. Don't want to scare anyone away!

I wonder if Dianne has heard anymore about the potential buyer for her inn? Dianne, if you're out there come to the sandbox and play for a little while.

And Helen, we had an oil furnace and couldn't stand it! We all almost died from carbon monoxide poisoning when the furnace cracked and we were still using it for 2 months. Yesa. We had a carbon monoxide detector that never went off. The guy that replaced it asked if we had been feeling "poorly" and I had said yes. He could put his whole fist through the furnace. He said the only thing that save us is that we had those old windows with the wavy glass that you can feel the air come through and that our bedrooms were all upstairs. Hence we switched to gas and that yr our gas prices jumped so high that when the furnace did work, it cost me $2400.00 a year to heat the house from Thanksgiving to March. This is our 3rd winter with no heat. It's probably putting me in an early grave but I just can't afford the money.

No muffins left. No brownies either have to remember where I hid that loaf of zucchini bread I made for you all. Enjoy the afternoon as I snuggle under the covers!

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobs!

My friends, I have missed you. It seems the only time I get a few moments to myself is in the morning at work. Otherwise, I miss all the good tea during the weekends. B00bs, special brownies, and flying muffins....oh my!

Things have been progressing....damn it. But we are managing. The kids are both doing well in school which is a blessing.

Please know that I have gone back and read about 10 pages this morning, but did not take notes. I cherish you all and do send blessings of peace and healing to everyone. I know we are all facing various struggles and celebrations in our lives. It is important to sit and enjoy all the good that we have.

Someone was talking about heating the house. I have lived in my house for 7 years and I do not use the furnace at all. Too dang expensive. We have a pellet stove that I absolutely LOVE. It heats the whole house, including the upstairs bedrooms phenomenally. We generally buy two pallets of pellets (try saying that three times fast) which is about 540 dollars. That will easily heat our house from October through March and even the chillier nights in April. Then we get a break before we have to crank up the AC. No getting around that bad boy.

Alright - back to work. Take care and I will be in touch. Really, I promise!:)
Love and light
Meg

Lot's of booze to turn us into cheap dates. Anything else ladies? Oh and dog pee dog and cat vomit. Aly's persian with diarrhea (and our pee too)

Sorry gentlemen, I hope you come back to visit, We really are very demure and proper when the occasion calls for such behavior.

Good morning one and all --

I've been lurking around the table enjoying the conversation the past few days but my voice has not been strong enough to use the Dragon speak so I have not spoken up. I feel a little stronger today so we'll see if I can speak clearly enough for you to understand me.

The party from Denver has made arrangements to come and see the house the end of the month. That means we are busy in the staging mode. The difficult part is going to be staging the master bedroom and the master bath since they both look like hospital or nursing home rooms!

Has anybody bought any clothes dryers lately? Well, you remember mine died two weeks ago and we bought a new one. Got it home and in the house and discovered that you had to buy the cord separately. So we got the cord and hooked the dryer up last weekend.(Did you ever hear of such a thing? It's kind of like buying a toaster without a cord!) Still didn't work. It seems that the new dryers have to have a different kind of exhaust hose than the old ones! Got the new exhaust and Tim is hooking it up today. Hopefully now everything is bought that is needed to make the darn thing work. Winter is coming and there won't be too many more days that Kathy can hang clothes out on the line.

The tea cup is empty, and my voice is giving out. So I will say bye-bye for now. That doesn't mean I'm not listening from another room, so be careful what you say about me! :)

Diane, I know what you mean about staging the house without all our equipment... I don't think I have as much medical "stuff" to hide, but still there is the bath chair (which I'll put into the shower itself), my walkers, the ramps, the wheelchair which I still don't really use.... most will get put into my car, hoping there's enough room for the kids, dog and I to still get into! After this weekend's open house I'm going to set up the dining room so Aly and Liz will have something to sleep on!

I could probably heat my house with the central fireplace I have, maybe I'll go that route this year with the pellets if my house doesn't sell... I just paid $3.50 gallon for oil!

Rats, I just got peanut butter on the scroll button on my mouse... kind of appropriate though I guess since mice love peanut butter! Eating a PB&J sandwich for lunch, don't feel like making up the tuna.

Good Day my friends!.....So much to catch up on... Coffee and I brought Cinnamon rolls this morning,...(passing gently around)....Hi Diane so glad you have prespective buyers comming. All this talk about, well just say Everthing...but when I get my powerchair ( yeah right), I will never again have to say "does this make my Butt bigger"..no one will see my butt again...lol...and just sitting I dont have to worry about holding in that stupid tummy, trying to suck it in to look good...:)

You all sound in good spirits once again. So glad we have a place to just be ourselves, guys and all. You so understand Jim, thanks for not being a wimp and understanding, I think you get it...:)

Went to Costco with daughter and husband yesterday, had 30 minutes till closing, talk about power shopping, was so funny. I can only buy a few things there as for one person, one thing at the size they sell will last me well over a month. But I had to laugh at what they had to but for feeding the two of them and 9 children. Looked like we were stocking a resturaunt!...Mom and dad will be gone a week so they wanted enough so I would not have to shop while they were gone. Thank heavens. Kinda nervous having them so far away but I think the kids will have fun taking care of me instead of vise versa.

Have a good day all, Sun is shinning, birds are churping, and dang dog barking (time for to squirt her with the hose), new neighbors have two dogs my border collie is not happy with, guess she is not being a good neighbor just yet....LOL

Any Brownies left?

Nope, brownies were consumed at breakfast... see if Kim has any left.

Meg, good to hear from you, been missing you!

NO Good Brownies?...(staggering to neighbors..*wink*...) will borrow a cup of needed ingredients..LOl...Be back went they are done will share will all............

ok, now you're gonna scare him away again! And we won't even go into the myths about the size of a man's nose and/or foot determines the size of something else! Sorry, not even going there. So don't get me started!

This brings to mind an old joke I had occasion to use yesterday.

Since I am a 24/7 BiPAP user, we have a cart that we keep the BiPAP on and roll around to follow me to the various locations I inhabit in the house. A couple of weeks ago we replaced the hose from the BiPAP to the mask with a new one and, like most new hoses, it is a bit stiff and keeps tangling itself around the armrest of my wheelchair. During the course of the past couple of weeks, my oldest son has simply been moving the BiPAP cart relative to the wheelchair so the hose stays away from the places where it likes to tangle.

At any rate, when my wife was settling me at my desk yesterday, I asked her to move the cart back "about a foot" away from the desk. First try, she moves it six inches. Not that my wife is a bad judge of distances, mind you, it's just that all through her days of youthful indiscretion, males kept telling her that six inches was a foot.

Back to the lurker cave for me. I'm one of those barbarians that drinks his tea from a glass. With a straw. And lots of ice.

PS: Aly, "bewbies" is the term that a female blogger I read uses to discuss that subject without getting the attention of the porn seekers/stalkers on GobbledyGoog. Plus, you never know when somebody might add that other word to a "moderated words" list.

PRS -- Kimberly and Diane, wait until you start needing a Hoyer lift for transfer to the toilet. Not a particularly flattering view of the the ol' derriere, hanging out the bottom of a "hygeine/toileting sling", let me tell you. Just be sure to cross the leg straps.

What a wonderful morning, I slept 8 hours, sun shining after a storm, jacuzzi now wired and heating, friends chatting. Love it.

Hello Meg, nice you popped in.

Jim, you are way too deep. I am just not able to think in that depth. Wish I could :)

Helen, glad I will be able to take a shower occasionally!

No breakfast from you all......what will I eat?

Today I will go get my cruiser bicycle. Was supposed to get it Saturday, but my friend never showed up. I hate being stood up......funny it's always the same person. I am going to buy a flouro vest so people can see me coming. Will look ridiculous, but keep me safe.

I am still in bed, maybe school holidays are ok after all. Charlotte has just left for her first day teaching at a new school. From Friday I will have 7 living here again. Hmmmmmmm. Maybe heading to USA is a better idea than I thought. Will leave Hubby with the dramas. He he he

Oh Allen you popped in while I was writing. Don't have my contacts in and glasses on, so who knows what I've written!
Loved the story. How big are your feet? My Hubbies are rather large so I know the foot thing is crap he he he.

Better get me and my bewbies up! ( my iPad put beagles in for bewbies) ok for one I will get me and my beagles up!

Love to you all.
