Ann, I'm so sorry to hear about that, why did it take so long to get you fixed up and comfortable? That really stinks... hoping that the meds have kicked in and you're feeling better. Is there a different type of catheter that will work better for you? Experimenting with catheters is not what one wants to do, unlike experimenting with oh, our special brownies.
Marta, I think it would be worse if the male nurse was good looking! Especially when down there... I remember when I was in labor with kid #1 and I was asked if it was ok for the student docs to come in and watch... seriously really? By that time you don't really care who's in the room, you just want that kid out (am I right ladies?).
I just backed my scooter up on my poor dog, who's been scratching all her fur off for the past week (still don't see a flea on her, but put that poison on her back)... think I ran over her foot or tail you should have heard the yelping poor thing. I did say when backing up to watch out, but evidently, she didn't. She's driving me crazy between the thunderstorm, the scratching, the barking and running to the door when I say anything out loud... and the toenails on the hardwood floor because I had to send the 9x12 rug out for cleaning! Because she had puked all over it. Aghhhh! I need some chocolate. Now. Like. Right now.
