Come For Tea

Hawaii sounds doable....I wish! We had a big BBQ today outside with a Hawaii theme, leighs and tropical fruit. I ate so much that I had to lay on the ground and roll myself back home....lol....the weather here is divine compared to the 3 digits in fresno, so I am a happy camper.
Hope all of you have a wonderful labor day weekend!

Boy, this thread always goes back to poop sooner or later!

Diane, sorry for your fall, do you use your cane when you walk between the chair and the electric wheelchair?

Diane/Kuai, try giving them peanut butter, that will really keep the pups busy. They sell these dog bones that are hollow on the inside, which you can spread peanut butter in.

Aly, enjoy your night out, and day of shopping!

Joni, you look gorgeous in your pics, and who are all the cute little ones in the birthday pics?

Hope everyone had a good Labor Day Monday, I went over to my brother and SIL's for a cookout...

Helen all the cuties are mine except the little girl with her hair up about 6, and front tooth missing. There my babies, that I love so much! And really wasn't a good picture of me, most of the time, my mouth is moving, or I am eating..lol

I've missed this thread for a few weeks now. In order not to step on any toes, and until I catch up on my reading I'll limit my comments to a big Hello to all. I've got about seventy pages of information to devour - I hope there's not a lot of poop.

Joe

Now Joe you KNOW there is talk of poop..haha Glad you are back with us!

Hi Joe, Nice to see you braved the tea thread again!
Greeting from a wet and humid Tuesday in Fl. Storms expected all day and I have a list of errands a mile long.
I hope all had a great weekend.
Yorkie boy had a good night. His eyes are looking better. The hole in his cornea is healing.

Susan, you are my heroine. Wonderful news about the healing of his cornea--I did not expect this! Stay safe today in the rain!

Welcome back, Joe.

Everybody, it's so good coming in and catching up....xoxo

Ann, your so sweet. I think anyone would do the same. He's such a sweet little dog. How could he be so neglected? My Maltese are 13 and 10 pounds and they tower over him. He made the mistake at growling at Felicity. That wont happen again. She gave him the "what for"! I heard a yip and saw him running. She's a tough Miami girl.
I have to find a home for him. Nina will be devastated but my two are a full time job with their special needs.
What is so funny is that i'm really a cat person.

Susan...a cat person can love dogs...especially small, cat sized ones! I love both, myself. Always have, although I had to leave my father's house before having a cat. Phil "tricked" me into rescuing both, when he was young and a runner. A dog thrown out of a pick-up was the first. Zach was a smart lab mix who loved cats, and did everything except "Come" when outside. One day he learned Phil could run mighty fast, but that dog also knew I could not. A lot of our earlier pets came home with Phil after runs. Later, the "hobos" marked the mailbox, and they began arriving.

I hope Toto finds a good home soon.

I'm a cat person and I do love dogs. Dogs need a lot more attention than cats though. We were always taking off somewhere or staying at work too late. Kitties don't care and they love you (on their terms of course) and sleep most of the day if we're home. But I do love dogs.

Now what Dear Ann? The peed on the mail box and then began arriving? Please explain. I'm dense.

I posted a question out there about leg braces. Are they worth the expense and do they help a lot with balance?

Well, a carton of three kittens was placed next to our mailbox, for starters. They came to us!

Ah gotcha! Ann, do you know anything about leg braces? Are they worth the expense and do they help very much with balance and not falling down?

HI JOE!

If they are to stop foot drop, Marta, then I would think they would decrease the chance of tripping, but I am a blonde so who knows?

I am a cat, dog, horse, heck every critter type of person. Just love the all,

Just got back from Auckland with my Hubby. I swear that man has regained the twinkle in his eyes. I can't remember when I last saw him so relaxed. He said he is thinking clearly again! He also said I should go see the neurologist asap for another EMG ( dont like that idea), because it would give us an indication of whether LMN are involved yet and would give us a clearer indication of the future. The next few words I liked.......no matter what, the next few years should be about what YOU want. I will follow you if you want to work overseas, holiday overseas, or whatever you wish. WOW. He was so sincere! He talked to one of the top AL's specialists in the world, who said I should go back to see the Sydney dr ( second top ALS specialist) and get a better indication of what may be happening.

Well that I will not do, causevi am happy, just being happy. My disability is minor and I am in love with life regardless, but I will think hard about the EMG and then if alls ok, having a lot of fun. Maybe finding a new job, even if I move for it.

Wow, I am just soooooo happy he is less stressed. Yahoo, I am dancing a jig, heck maybe I will go to Ireland and dance a real jig!

Poos off the menu, well it will be once I have cleaned the back yard :)

Tell me what Boston is like early November and what I can do there?

Love and yahoo again.

Wow Aly Pie! You sure are in a great state of mind! I'm very happy for you Sweets! :D

Aly girl, glad to see you so happy! Dance a little for me! Oh crap, one of the dogs has some serious gas, I am about to gag! They were under the table..one of them was doing it when she brought the machines out today. I had to clarify, that is one of the dogs stinking, not me!lol
