Now that I know I am getting a tax refund, I have been looking at computers. Several of my friends, including a brother-in-law who works for one of the big computer companies, has advised me to get one with XP and to avoid Vista. So that limits me, but I found one online that I have saved in my cart while I think about several more features. One of the things that I will begin to do when I get my new computer is to start voice banking. I had joked with my daughter that since I was such an anglophile I would rather have a English accent. But honestly, I would rather communicate in my own voice, no matter how Okie. The speech pathologist at the ALS clinic said that since my voice is still understandable that it should work well for me.
