The kids were wild today at school. Valentine's Day is one of the days we have parties and a local advertizing firm has adopted all three second grade classes. They provided cupcakes, candy, and juice and had several employees in each class playing games and serving the refreshments. My daughter went out to eat with her dad. They went to her favorite place, Red Lobster. They are very much alike and are having to work on their relationship. The boys and I picked up two take and bake pizzas from a new place in town and rented 'Spiderman 3'. This is the first Valentine's Day since 1989 that I did not have a significant other. Although my ex did get me roses, he has made no attempt to get help for his anger. I don't want to be on my own, but I away from the daily anger, I am happier than I have ever been in my adult life, even with a diagnosis of ALS. I still want him to get help, for the kids and himself, even if we never get back together.
